Artist Statement
The Ebb and Flow of Life and Tides is a manifestation of lost loves and the flow of life that at mid-life compares to a racing outgoing tide.
I continue to explore the metamorphosis of identity; considering landscape, winds, and tides, while connecting with the ocean in a profound way; and researching the effects of negative ions on life and love; all while creating images of beachlife that will beg the viewer to find and maintain the authenticity of self from the sands and sea.

This body of work evolved from a one year residency living on Indian Rocks Beach on the Florida Gulfcoast.
